North of Skye, you find yourself in the Torridonian Highlands with its ancient rocks which form the unusually twisty landscape. The route carves its way through the heart of these hills past some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland.

This section is most definitely remote; however, it has some of the quirkiest roads on the Trek from single tracks through the moors to sections of flawless tarmac which looks like it has been laid by a Formula 1 team!
